YIVO’S 2020 SUMMER PROGRAM
TAKING PLACE ONLINE

JUNE 29 – AUGUST 7, 2020

DON’T MISS THE APPLICATION DEADLINE: MAY 29

Spend six-to-nine weeks immersed in Yiddish and discover 1,000 years of Jewish history.

Delve into the riches of the Yiddish language and Eastern European Jewish culture through language classes, seminars, theater workshops, and other activities. The program will run in full, with a number of innovations and additions to meet the needs of the virtual classroom. Teaching from New York, Montreal, and Israel, our world-class faculty will join students across the globe as an international community in our own digital Yiddishland.

We hope you will join us via Zoom this summer!

If six weeks isn’t enough, we are also offering additional programs to expand your Yiddish learning:

REFRESHER COURSE

YIDDISH: THE NEXT LEVEL
August 10–21, 2020

Instructors: Miriam Trinh and Eliezer Niborski | A continuing education course for those already teaching, carrying out research, or performing in Yiddish.
